Dylan is an awesome dude! He was helping us out with everything we needed all night! I really appreciate all the help he gave us. He appeared to be the head bartender the whole night because of the confidence he put out while he was working. I look forward to seeing him next time I come here.

Oh yummy was this place delicious! I'm only sorry we waited until our last day of vacation to eat here. If we had gone sooner I would have been happy to go back a second time. Service was prompt and friendly, food was wonderful. We tried the Wild Watermelon beer. Who would have thought the 2 of these things would make such a great pair? Tasty beer, tasty food. Looking forward to our next trip to Lake Havasu so I can try something else on the menu.

Came here last week for a quick weekend , the food was good , but it seems they really upped their game on the beer ...got tasters of every beer and a couple a regular glasses after finding my favorite ...because everything was so good , food beer and friendly service , we came here 3 nights in a row ! Maybe I'm used to the rat -race where I live , but I like the laid back atmosphere and home - town warmth of this place .

Really great lunch spot for us & the dogs! We had the patio to ourselves, but still received exceptional service! The food alone deserves 4 stars. Patio is covered too which we loved. We will go back next time we are in town

We came here on a Friday during happy hour. All appetizers were 1/2 price, and there was alot to choose from. We tried the chicken wings naked with the sauces on the side. We were not disappointed at all, very good and not small, it came with plenty carrots and celery. They were so good we ordered more. Then we tried the nachos and it was a big helping, plenty for 4 people. After all that we had the shrimp quesadilla, and that was huge! We all had a couple of their own brewery beers which were awesome. Just so you don't think we were pigs, there were 4 of us sharing all this yummy food! I highly recommend Mudsharks Brewery (this is the main place, not the little pizza place)!

Great happy hour specials. Server was nice but everything was slow at the restaurant from getting our first drinks to taking our order to the food arriving. Definitely don't come here in a hurry. Beer selection is great and the half-prices appetizers were good.

The Beer is Amazing! The sampler is wuite the deal where you get 6 samples- 5 standard and 1 seasonal. The seasonsls were watermelon and blueberry- both refreshkng summer beers on a summer day where the temperature was 113! Very kid friendly, too, giving crayons and paper to keep her busy. Great atmophere, staff very friendly, and cute t-shirts: drinks well with others! Dry heat hefweisen and scorpian ale and the porter were all great, too, but a little heavy with the heat. Cheers!

Great for the family, reasonable prices and great pizza. Will definitely repeat next time we're in Havasu.

Not bad. A really great club sandwich totally loaded with meats. The Caesar salad was slightly wilted and had too much dressing. Decent brews and good service. I would go back and get a different salad.

This brewery has it all. Good food and let's talk about the beer.. It's wow wow wow for all you beer drinkers. Brewmaster is a genius with top notch beer. From porters to blueberries and vanilla wheat ale..you have to taste the Full Moon it's outstanding... Roslyn was an amazing bartender she completely educated us on the brewery.. We were very impressed. Definitely be back.. We are visiting from Las Vegas but we found a weekend getaway here... Thank you

Great place for dinner with the family. If I lived here I could see myself hanging out here. The vanilla caramel porter is awesome!

Solely based on the beer selection, absolutely 5 star!!! I had several of their beers, and I thoroughly enjoyed them all. They have a beer that is called "The Quad", and it's 11% ABV! Ermahgerd! I did not try that one- I wanted to be able to walk upright, Hahahaa! The crowd was pleasant and friendly, and I met a new friend from back home! Bonus!

Mudshark has a great IPA! If you ever get the chance to stop in try one of the pizzas. The white spinach pizza is the best.

When we first got our place in LHC, we used to come down here a lot for lunch or dinner. The food was always really good. We'd look forward to the pizza, the sandwiches, the cheesecake. We have witnessed the quality of all of the food, as well as the atmosphere, diminish over the past few years. Now I don't know how much of the food was ever made from scratch or fresh, but if it was from a food service, it was good quality. Not anymore. We ate here a few weeks back. The place wasn't too busy for a Saturday night, especially with a playoff game going on. We were seated by the door to the outside where all the smokers go on the patio. Every time the door opened, cold air and cigarette smoke came in. For that reason alone we almost walked out, but then the smokers all left. Our server was not on her game, even though the place wasn't that busy. My expectations for service really aren't that high. Be friendly, keep up with the drinks, try your best to not goof up our orders from your end. None of these things really happened, so I'd consider that poor service, I had ordered their 'special' burger. Which was to be a pepper jack cheesburger with pineapple, grilled onions, fried jalepenos, and some sort of hot sauce. I chose to have a salad instead of fries. I tried my best to not be a pain in the ass, I asked if they could just put any vegetables they had on the salad. I'd pay extra. This seemed to be a hassle, and she said "how about some mushrooms, maybe some cheese." I said sure, again I didnt want to be a pain. I just wanted a salad with lots of salad stuff in it. Our table ordered crab cakes, soup and salad, a pizza and my meal. The pizza is always pretty darn good there. I didn't have any of it, but it was apparently well liked. The crab cakes had big pieces of crab, but looked really sloppy and not appetizing. My wife never got her soup, her salad was fine. My 'salad' came out. Iceberg lettuce, sliced white mushrooms, shredded mozzarella. It was as unappetizing looking as it sounds. I know I kinda asked for it. So I didnt complain, just pushed it to the side. My burger was terrible, Clearly a pre frozen patty on a way too big bun. Dry, flavorless. The pineapple was small and hard. The fried jalapeno actually tasted OK, there was only 3 on the burger though. A small teaspoon of flavorless grilled onions on the bottom bun. How you can make a caramelized onion flavorless, I dont know. A slice of non melted yellow cheese. The burger was cold, flavorless, and forgettable. I was very hungry, I knew if I complained and ordered something different, by the time I got it everyone would be waiting on me. So I just scarfed it down. The service wasnt good. Everyone besides the pizza eater was disappointed in their meal. The place had a weird chemically smell and there were fruit flies everywhere. I'd say we caught them on a bad night, but again, we have seen over the past 4 years or so the quality of everything diminish. I remember ordering burgers there that looked like someone actually made them by hand-thick, hanging off the bun, flavorful toppings. The pizza has always been good-I actually like the pizza at their actual pizza place even more. The beer is all good. But they've really phoned it in on everything else. We probably won't be going back again, and if we do, we are for sure not ordering anything more than a pizza or two.

Had an enjoyable meal on the patio a few nights ago. Weather was perfect and the food was great. My wife had the teriyaki beef and I had the fish and chips. Both prepared to our satisfaction and liking. The Scorpion Ale and bloody Mary's were fantastic. Sean was our server and as always provided excellent service and we wanted for nothing.

Came to mud shark with my girl friend and her grandma for lunch on a Tuesday. Got the sampler which was delicious with huge onion rings. Then got the BBQ burger and the scorpion ale for lunch. Also awesome, however a little too much BBQ sauce. After returning from the bathroom, our server Devin flagged me down and asked if he over heard correctly that it was someone's bday. I told him my girlfriends was tomorrow and he said he'd bring over a (generously sized) slice of cake and even offered to bag and box it up since he knew we were stuffed. So if you're ever there, ask for Devin. Super nice dude. Very helpful and attentive but not overly attentive like some servers can be.

This place is horrible service sucks the waitresses do not give a damn you're better off having dinner and drinks at your house.

  • Arthur S.

Excellent club sandwich and fries. Ingredients where fresh and tasty. Fries were exceptional, crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Also had a smooth wheat beer with hints of blueberry which was very good. Will definitely return to sample their other selections.

Came here to watch Monday Night Football and seating was great and not too packed. The nachos were pretty good, but what I don't get is why ask us how do we want our burgers cooked when they are cooked from a frozen patty and they all pretty much look the same when it was brought out? O_o Would be nice to know that as that made no sense to me. I don't think I'll order a burger from here again. Good crowd for watching sports and perhaps stick to appetizers only.

I came in tonight with my husband about 7 and we sat outside. It was a beautiful night on the patio and Sean our waiter treated us well. We wanted for nothing. Typical visit. Everything was great!

We had the shrimp margarita pizza, fish tacos and mearlovers pizza. These folks make yummy fresh pizza. We enjoyed the staff enthusiam and appreciated their suggestions. Definitely on our repeat list.

Came in tonight specifically to get "The Big One" burgers. We were not disappointed. They were better than I remember them!!! Melt in your mouth deliciousness. I hope they stay a regular menu item. Also tried the Peaceful Pumpkin Ale for the first time.... WOW!!! Fall in a glass. The cinnamon brown sugar rim just enhances the flavor. It was so good we bought our very first growler. I know what I'm having after work tomorrow!! Husband got the Full Moon which still stands as our all time favorite. Jamie was or server tonight. She was amazing. Very accommodating, sweet, attentive without breathing down our necks. I can't tell you enough how much I love this place. Never a disappointment. So glad to be locals and call you our own local brewery.

Good beer and good food. We had the steak sandwich and the chili nachos. We were seated fast the place looked pretty clean and the service was good. I am kind of sad that by 6pm the special was sold out! I would stop by here again.

I've always been in love with their Full Moon Ale. I've tried their other brews, of which some are pretty exotic, but none ever quite did it for me. Visiting their brewery I find I prefer their beer from a bottle as opposed to on tap. The service leaves something to be desired. I waited almost 5 minutes before being sat, 10 minutes before being served, and another 10 on top of that before I got a menu. My server got distracted and forgot about my order altogether. When she figured out I was starting to get annoyed, she got with it and was good humored about it all. The food took longer than I figured it should have (about half an hour for a burger cooked medium) and the music selection out me in a depressed mood while I waited. It's worth noting that all the music they played was country. I have no problem with that, but some might. That all said, when the food arrived, it was very tasty. The fries were crispy and freshly done and the burger was delicious, if a little different than what I expected. At the end I had a good time, but it I would not recommend it for the lunch that I was hoping for. I guess it is also worth noting that the bar tenders and servers are above average in looks.

Must say the pizza and salad was wonderful. However, management needs to remember customers are important. We ASKED if we could have a pizza split in half using ttwo of their speciality pizzas. Waiter was nice said he would check, came back and said they don't like to do that but the cook said he would. The pizza was then served to us by a manager who proceeded to inform us that they DON'T split pizzas and it never should have been done. We felt like we were children being reprimanded by our mother. Didn't enjoy our meal. Would have totally understood if the waiter had come back and said no on the split, we would have ordered differently. Needless to say, will find another place to buy pizza.

Stepped in to grab a quick growler fill after sampling a few brews; Bartender was new but really nice and knowledgeable. The stout was really good but then I tried a Carmel Vanilla Bean Port that was Delicious... was shocked they would do a growler fill of it but just made for a happy me! A passing by employee offered up a to go cup of root beer for my Daughter. Really nice of him.

They kept the kitchen open late for us on high school graduation evening! Pizza and fish/chips were fantastic! Best fried thick cut cod in town!! Sean S. our server was awesome! He made me his 'homemade' cocktail sauce with horseradish that was so delish and spicy!! Great food, great server and thanks again for feeding grads and parents on such a special milestone evening!!

If I had to pick a favorite local restaurant - Mudshark Brewing Co. is it. First, I love their beer; you can tell the entire place takes a great deal of pride in their brews. While my goto beer is their UpRiver Lager, it's light and has flavor, and second favorite is their Scorpion. I've never has a bad meal at Mudshark either; I've learned that if I'm in a rush (like trying to catch a movie next door) I'll sit in the bar area where it's easy to flag down my server. Overall, Mudshark is a must visit place when in Havasu.

  • Brad H.

you know, I really like this place compared to any other place to get GOOD beer at. The food is good, most of the employees are very friendly. The happy hour is some great pricing. I've learned to mostly just sit in the bar because it's easier to sit and get beer quickly. The Bartenders are great, two of them are really nice. An older gentleman and a younger woman.. love to talk and knows the beer. If you sit at a bar, you generally expect the bartenders to chat. However, there's this one bald guy bartender who just isn't friendly. He does his job, he pours the beer, he takes your order.. but he doesn't seem to enjoy it at all. I overheard another customer ask if their IPA compares to a non Mudshark type of beer and he just shrugged his shoulders as if to say "I dunno and don't care". Luckily I didn't have any questions and was able to just order my food and beer. I like Mudsharks, but I think next time I come in and of that bartender is working, I'll sit somewhere else or just leave. If you don't like your job, go find a new one. People come for the relaxed atmosphere and to hang out, not to get treated like they're wasting the employees time. I asked about this and it would seem I'm not the only one who feels this way regarding this employee and I do hope that the owners take a look into this.

Was not impressed with anything but the outdoor patio! I came here once before but I was with a big group and we were chatting it up getting hammered. I don't remember too much about the food, so I went back again knowing they had a great outdoor patio and were dog friendly. This time we ordered several items to include a pizza and a overpriced salad, all which were nothing to talk about. I left knowing that I will never come back, wasn't a satisfying experience for us.

Had a few beers here one evening, sat at the bar. Good IPA and the bar service was good reasonably friendly. It has a nice interior and is well staffed. I will go back for sure.

    (3)
  • Mike S.

Good enough place, but if they are a brewery , the beer should cost less. It feels like I'm being asked to drink their brew , for the same price as other brands. No thanks

Very cool place! Great place to go after a day on Lake Havasu! Service was good and everyone was friendly and helpful. Food was good not great but the drinks selection made it better! Tons of different beer for the the beer connoisseur!

Great beer, bartender named Stan was a friendly guy as well. Knew a lot about their brews.

Pretty cool place love the shark theme and the shark beer tap handles. On Tuesdays they have one and a half pounds of crab on special. My dad is making me type this because he is too lazy. He said they have great beer on tap. The staff was really friendly. Joline was an excellent waitress and provided great recommendations.

Went here for lunch with family. Each of us ordered a different meal. Fish tacos, Fish sandwich, house salad & mine a grilled (albacore) tuna melt. All very good & affordable. Then the brew. I had a 1/2 house IPA with ginger & 1/2 house lite brew mix. Crazy Good. Easley the best brew I have had from a Havasu brewery in years. Those who know me are aware in a big time "session" IPA connoisseur. This brew combo was hoppy, fresh finish with a low ABV & hint of ginger. Unique & tasty. six stars for that. They would be well advised to offer this on tap every day . In fact I'm going back for more tonight. All this place is missing is a variety of guest brews. Still great place.

    (4)
  • David L.

All I can say is the beer is still great, but I can get there beer cheaper at other establishments in town. (Makes no sense to me). The food is nothing special or great, but they do have some great employees that keep me coming back, but not as often as I used to.

  • Kathleen K.

My husband really liked the BBQ Brisket sandwich that was the special of the day. It was very good per the bite I sampled. The other two of us ordered Fish n Chips. The breading was completely bland and improved greatly with salt. One piece of fish was undercooked and tough. I had substituted the special mac n cheese for my chips and that was wonderful with bacon and chipotle. Not sure I would go back but my husband said he would.

  • Geno B.

We liked the idea we could bring our little dog to the outside patio area, it was too hot outside to leave her in the car. Food was ok, nothing special but what surprised me was after I told the waitress I wanted a cold beer and cold glass with it and this being a beer establishment I received a warm bottled beer and slightly cool glass. I had to walk to the bar myself and get some ice to put in my beer. I probably won't go back. ...

Abominable Winter Ale is 5 stars. Food was fabulous and the service was awesome. Thanks spencer, Brian and Krisanne. It was worth the drive from San Diego. See ya again in December.

I love this place! I am planning my wedding in Havasu (2 weeks to go!) and when I first met up with my DJ he said to meet him here. We have met up with him several times since then and this is going to continue to be a place that we frequent when we are out there. The wait staff at the bar are super friendly and very helpful when selecting one of their many delicious of beers. We went there on Friday and had some pumpkin beer (the rim of the glass is dipped in brown sugar- YUM) and some of there famous teriyaki tenders for happy hour. .. . UMM YUMMMM!! So good. We will be hosting our rehearsal dinner there in 2 weeks, and I am looking forward to trying their pizzas. Ashley has been very helpful helping me coordinate this event, I have ZERO stress about the rehearsal dinner thanks to her. Overall- great staff, great beer, great food! Thanks Mudsharks!!!

I just love it when a restaurant exceeds your expectations. This one surely did. I went with a group of four and some of us had the "Red white, and blue burger. One of our group had the fish tacos. We were all completely blown away. If you like beer the beer sampler is a must!

    (5)
  • Raul C.

Don't let this place fool you, Looks a lil deserted but service is GREAT!! Shelly was great. Food is also very good. My wife had the Mushroom Ravioli and I had the buffalo pizza. Beers are also good. Try the sampler then go from there. If I lived in Az, I'd be back.

    (5)
  • Ken H.

The beer is good. We have been there a few times and it seems to be going downhill. I may give them one more shot to see how it goes.

  • Scott K.

If you are looking for good bear and a pretty cool brewery atmosphere this place is not bad. If you're looking for good food you'd be less disappointed if you stop at McDonald's first. The kid's menu looks decent but is a ripoff. Mac and cheese out of a box that my kids couldn't even gag down. The menu looks good, but everything is average at best.

    (2)
  • Shannon W.

The manager sucked. However, the waitress Kristy is soooo cool . The nachos were dreadful and she replaced them for us. I recommend this place. Honestly though, the nachos need some serious work. Kristy, you're cool...

  • Ty B.

Attentive to the minimum. Beer was good, bartender new the beers. Black and Blue Steak was tasty but way over cooked. Veggies a little too done for my taste and appeared dull in color. Garlic fresh potatoes very good. Will return for tasty beers and to see if we can get that steak right.

If you're here for the beer, the hefeweizen is the best I've had across the country. Full moon as well, even the stout is amazing. I miss this place.

Fun atmosphere! They were on a wait so we grabbed a beer from the bar and shortly after a table opened up- good beer tried their IPA - hoppy & delicious! Service was great- very attentive server brought everyone a round of waters with beer! :) food was great- HUGE portions! We had the Burrito, Chicken Teriyaki and pulled chicken salad- all was good! Would love to go there on a night with live music! Patio looked fun too!

Cool place. Clean and friendly. Had the Cajun pasta based on another yelper's review. Good suggestion! Fun, casual crowd. Great selection of beers.

  • Schel H.

This place is not the toast of the town that is for sure. The micro brewed beer was so so. It seems like they strictly followed the traditional micro brew/restraunt plan and did nothing to stand out. This may work for the resort town that Havasu is, but elsewhere, it would be totally underwhelming. The food was average at best (2 friends didnt want to take their excess away) The beer sample is brought in a tray that takes up way way too much room. Yes its fun to have it in a shark carrier, but when you have 5 people at a six person table and 2 beer samplers took up a space and a half total, that is kinda ridonkulous. regardless, I doubt I will be back on my next trek to havasu... there are too many alternative places to go try out...

    (2)
  • David F.

Food is always good... Beer is yummy... But new menu with less items and raised all their prices by 1.00.... Wasn't to long ago they did the same thing.... Won't stop me from going back though.

Good service and food. Both the stout and porter were delish. We had a big group and the it was all good. The big winner of the night was Black & blue ribeye...all three who ordered it loved it.

    (4)
  • S. S.

Utterly disappointed. Almost everything was frozen. My bf had the beef dip sandwich...frozen meat, tasted like a typical Arby's sandwich. Fries were good. Biggest disappointment was my meal. I had the "garlic-crusted halibut". It was a small, frozen piece of halibut with minced garlic put on top of it. The "fresh veggies" were frozen mixed vegetables. The big winner of the night was the garlic mashed potatoes...very good, and NOT FROZEN! But the meal was NOT worth $21.99. Not even half that. Service was good, friendly, and open to suggestion. I've eaten here before and the food has always been just average, until tonight. Beer is very good and is actually sold throughout Arizona. May go back again to try something else, but if that's another flop, we're done...

  • Kari R.

Get the beer sampler less than 6 bucks and you get 6 mini beers! By far the beer is the best option here. The service is super slow. We went in as a table of 5 and our service was horrible. Took for ever to take the drink order, waited for drinks, never got our order taken, then had to wait so freaking long for the food it was ridiculous. I went here 2 times and it was the same story. As the food goes it just OK. First time I got the ribs they def fell off the bone but everything else was cold because it took so long to get the food. The second time I got the mushroom ravioli. They were OK but I'm pretty sure frozen. There also wasn't very many on the plate which I was disappointed about cause I was sharing and am fat. Well my aunt likes the nachos here so I'll prob be back to try the pizza and get crunk off some beer.

As my partner greatly enjoys the alfredo chicken pizza, I often find myself sipping on stale, generally flat and tasteless beer at MudShark. Seriously. It's a brewery. The beer was flat. Every time. I thought that perhaps this was due to the flavor I was selecting, or maybe the pint I had was drawn from the bottom of the keg. At this point, after so many beers, I can only assume that they have decided not to carbonate their beers and instead serve dirt-colored, bitter water. Though I was initially impressed with the cost to food ratio, after several visits and mediocre service at best, I have to say that this restaurant is not really worth the money.

  • Joey S.

I've been a fan here since my first visit. Really friendly staff and always a good meal. Nice variety, there's something for everyone. Great selection of their own beers. Nice seasonal selections. My only complaint is that sometimes when there's a big event in town. they seem alittle short-staffed. Maybe a small thing but when you're used to great, attentive service as part of being a local, I felt somewhat slighted.

Took my mom here today for her birthday dinner, as we have had good food here in the past and my girlfriend likes it. Staff was excellent (except for one, I'll get to that). I ordered the barbeque burger and when our waitress asked how I wanted it cooked, I said rare. When my burger got there, I cut it and took a bite, only to find that the bottom half was actually raw. Not being dramatic here, full on, uncooked. Our hostess came by and I mentioned it to her and she was wonderful, took it back to the kitchen and they brought back a new burger about 15 minutes later. Our waitress even came by and apologized. When it was brought back, it looked cooked on the outside, but when I cut into it again, it just looked gross. Just raw, albeit not as much as the first time. I understood, they tried, and I'm sure it was just a simple mistake, as I said, it looked cooked on the outside. A woman came to our table, no uniform or identification and asked how the food was, kinda caught off guard, thinking it was another customer, we said fine. When our waitress came back, I told her it was just still too raw and just wanted to pay for the rest of the food and head to our movie. The same woman from before showed up again and asked what happened (I'm assuming she was a manager?). I explained how I felt it was an easy mistake. It was what she said and how she said it, that totally changed my mind about the visit. She asked how I had ordered it, I explained rare, and she said next time I should order it more done next time, as that's just how the meat cooks since they are frozen patties. $12 for a burger and its frozen beef, and if I order it rare, it comes raw? I understood it was a simple mistake up until that point, but I really felt insulted by this. I didn't like her attitude and frankly the fact that I had received a raw burger the first time around, and then a raw burger the second time around, I think she should have been more understanding. Aside from that, our hostess, Chelsea, and our waitress, whom I can't remember her name, (blonde, glasses, bubbly personality) were excellent. Top notch employees. The mystery manager lady? Probably won't go back because of her.

The pizza at Mud Sharks is one of the best in Havasu. Its seems this area really lacks great food options so its excellent the locals have a decent pizza place to go to. The service is great. The staff is very attentive. As for the beer its OK. Not the best, not the worst. I suggest the Brew-master take a trip to San Diego and visit some of the breweries to see what excellent beer is being produced. Alpine, Green Flash, Ale Smith, Stone to name a few.

The beer is good, however, the service is awful. We were there for nearly two hours and never did get to order food. I must wonder how they stay in business with service this bad. We won't be going back to MudShark Brewing anytime soon.

They only get one star because I have to give them a star. We were in town for the MBAA race and they offered the MBAA 25% off if we dined here. Our group of 12 went in. The bar was busy but the restaurant was empty and the patio was 3/4 empty. The hostess sighed when we told her we had 12. I asked if we could sit on the patio and she said it was full, which we could see was not. I then asked if they could seat us inside. She said it was busy and there would be at least half an hour wait which we said was fine. Then she complained that she only had one cook, the dishwasher called out and had only one busser. So I asked what she was trying to say, If she would rather us leave. She said not if you want to wait 45 minutes for your food because the cook had 18 tickets up. She didn't offer to seat us even after we tolerated that so we left. I told her we don't mind busy or even a wait but a bad attitude is what lost our business. Then she got more mad and snaps that she didn't have an attitude. We left and went next door to the Mexican restaurant where we are being treated great!

The bf's family and I came here for dinner during NYE weekend and it wasn't too busy when we went for dinner. Mostly locals, it seemed. Cool decor. Good lighting. Good brews. Very fun and upbeat atmosphere. I got the Salmon Tortellini. It was a perfect blend of ooey cheesy goodness and fish. I was hoping for more of a kick from the capers, but didn't get it. But it was still an A+ dish in my books! Their fries are addicting too! I'm going to try the Black & Blue Ribeye next time. I had a bite of it and wanted more!! I love MudShark!!!

Food was good, nothing fancy, salad, bread sticks, pizza. They brew their own beer, they used to do it on site, but seem to have moved that operation elsewhere. Service was friendly, and not exactly attentive, but at least interested and enthusiastic.

We have been to this restaurant many times and we have never left unhappy. The food is always good and the staff/ service is most always great! We love their popular BBQ Chicken Pizza and are sadden they no longer offer the Scorpion Chicken Skewers! Sometime, the wait time can be annoying as they can get pretty busy! Yet, when in town we always eat here at least once. The location is not too big nor small. They have a small brewery onsite and bar! My Husband loves the Hefeweizen and the wine selection is decent. The lighting makes me look about five years younger (yea baby) and music is pleasing (never too loud). Honestly, in a small town with not a whole lot of options, this is a great option.

My first visit to Mudsharks, with a party of 20 friends and family. Had to eat on the patio as they could not accommodate us indoors. it was chilly out. Day crew had not refilled propane, so the heaters inoperable. Took 45 minutes from order to receive my first beer. Hour and a half to receive food order. The wait staff were doing everything possible to keep us happy, but management doesn't seem to care about customers. Food was excellent! I will return.

Had dinner here in June while on vacation. Good beer, good food, and good atmosphere. It's a good microbrewery. We tried a sampler of their six brews that were available then. Their Full Moon Belgium Wit, which they served with an orange slice, was outstanding. Also enjoyed the stout and IPA. The beers were all well-crafted. They have a rotation of seasonal beers. They also have a decent wine list. It's also a good restaurant. The food was good. Our daughter enjoyed some delicious mud pie for dessert. Saw families dining in the restaurant area. Service was good. The young man who waited on our table took time to explain the beers. This was a good experience. Mudshark is a nice place. Plenty of parking and next to a theater. Mudshark is within walking distance (probably 10-15 mins) from London Bridge, but we took the Havasu Area Transit (HAT) bus from our hotel (the Heat Hotel) to a stop just across from Mudshark Brewing.

Basically just pretty simple food and decent craft beer. The amber ale I had was just okay. A little heavy on the roast flavor and lacking much in the sweetness and hoppy bitterness from what I usually expect from an amber. My first choice would've been their rasberry wheat, but they were out. The steak sandwich the wife and I split was also fairly disappointing due to that it was basically just a whole steak sandwiched between a roll. I expected something more along the lines of a roll filled with slices or chunks of steak, not a whole steak. The steak was just tender enough for it not to be overwhelmingly frustrating to eat, but it nonetheless still was somewhat frustrating. Fortunately the horseradish sauce was plentiful and packed just enough of a kick.

UPDATE *** No Customer service!! I never received a response from the owner or management at Mudshark. ** My Husband and I and two other couples went in for a nice evening. None of us will ever go back. The beer sampling is fun and food was good but service was terrible. I joined yelp just to warn people how frustrating Mudshark is. The waiter and hostess were a joke they made us feel we were an inconvenience. I have sent 2 emails & made 1 phone call requesting to speak to the manager or owner. It has been over 2 weeks and no one has contacted me.I guess the owner just doesn't care, I have no idea how they have stayed in business so long. Having worked in the hospitality industry this lack of customer service is disappointing.

Fun place for a Friday night in LHC. Some great beer w/ the Scorpion Amber being my favorite...and also the strongest in some strange coincidence :P Thanks to the Yelpers on here turning me on to this place. It was about a 20 min wait for a table so it was obv popular. We had the hot crab n' chedder dip for the appetizer which was basically imitation crab meat and cheez whiz but it didn't mean it wasn't good. My wife opted for the Scorpion Burger which was huge but she wasn't into the teriyakiesque sauce so we sent it back in exchange for the California burger which she liked a lot more. Really nice staff and they took care of it right away. I went w/ the "World Greatest Pork Chops" and they were pretty damn good. They were boneless and extremely flavorful. Too full for dessert as always.

I am down on Lake Havasu. Having passed through it just once it came of as pretty squalid. The signs for their biggest tourist attraction looks like the food I am about to write about. A bar without cider is not a bar It's a bar-like object aka, BLO's That being said this place has its own beer and their hefeweizen is worth a try. The food isn't trying. Judging by the effort on my plate it's not even phoning it in but choosing instead to attach a note to a sick-looking cow and pushing it in the general direction of the kitchen freezer. The burger patty was the joyless mechanical snippets shoved together type like a spiral of 1/4" chips (barf) the fries were sitting out for a while. My wife's tuna sandwich was dry but that's ok it wasn't fresh enough to continue eating. Hell no. 2 stars because I reserve ones for places the are flat out dangerous to your health,/ not just your wallet

Great beer and wings! Seriously good wings. The service isn't the best though. It took forever to get our drinks and the food even longer. If you have time to spare you should drop in.

I've been going here off and on (more off lately) for several years. The service is very hit and miss. Sean has been a long time server in the bar area. Try to get him as your server if you can. The food is just okay. Most of it is frozen or from a can. There is nothing that stands out as awesome. The antipasta salad with the house dressing is safe bet. The pizzas aren't bad. As far as beers, the Hef, the IPA, and the Full Moon are good. The Mudsberry is also good, but they have only had it on tap once, in the last couple of years. They keep experimenting with all kinds of fruity flavored beers. A few have been pretty good, but for some reason, they don't bring them back. They keep trying more concoctions and most of them don't work. Lunacy was another one time hit, but you can only get it at "World of Beers" in the Phoenix area. Absentee ownership is very obvious, because of the inconsistency and the lack of passion by most of the employees. If I owned this place, and I had created a winning new beer, I would make sure that I was never out of it. I would promote it. I would also create food to be proud of from fresh ingredients. I would also add some healthier fare for the growing number of people, that actually care about what they eat. This could be a very successful restaurant, but unfortunately, it is mediocre at best. Mediocrity is tolerated from the top all the way down. You can tell by very high turnover of help. They can't keep good help, except for Stan (bartender) and Sean. I run into many of their best ex-employees at other restaurants around town. Finally, either the A/C doesn't work very well or they are too cheap to turn it on.

The food is okay the service is okay. Not happy with the fact that they just eliminated happy hour. Got our bill and it was twice what it should have been. They could put up a new sign or something to let us know that. Not sure when ill go back now...

I've not experienced bad service like this in a long time at a restaurant. We visited on 3/15/09 around 8pm. Whoever the stuck up thin blonde woman is that was on duty at that time needs to be dismissed from her job. Our party of four was seated right away, as there was almost no one in the place. (Really overstaffed for a Sunday). It took nearly five minutes to receive our drinks. Nothing hard.. A beer, Iced Tea, and two cokes. The iced tea was RANCID and smelled like it had been drawn straight from the lake. We looked around for the waiter to complain, but he was no where to be found. After waiting several more minutes I pulled out a bottle of water from my purse for our guest. I barely set it down on the table when the female "manager" arrived at the table with two of our entrees. After complaining about the tea, the woman snooted up her nose and sharply asked if she could bring over a glass of water for our guest. She replied, "No thank you, I have water now." The manager then offered our guest a glass of ice and then retreated the back. Minutes later, our waiter returned with a full glass of ice water, stating that no outside "drinks" were allowed and that the manager expressly mentioned that. Funny how it's perfectly OK to serve someone rancid tea without blinking an eye or apologizing, yet point fingers when it comes to inferior food and beverages. The manager chose to go with the "holier than thou" attitude. I'll never come back again. This place is a dump with snobs on staff.

We used to love this place. However I refuse to pay top dollar for iceberg lettuce. It's also very very slow....no matter how many staff are working or how many patrons are there. I used to love their salads but they really need to upgrade the quality of the ingredients. If you're going to charge $14 for a salad, make sure to use the highest quality foods.

On a recent road trip through Lake Havasu we stopped by the Mudshark and were pleasantly surprised, the food was incredible! I would recommend the onion rings and the mushroom ravioli. The staff was good, the waiter we had was amazing, if I were ever back in the area, I would certainly go back!

I've been a fan of Mudshark since it was a small pizza place (when I was in Middle School). Mudshark brewing company is usually an excellent meal choice. The food is solid for the most part. Last time I ate there I had the scorpion burger. It was my first food after coming off of the airplane home last winter, so I may be a bit biased, but it was pretty fantastic for 8pm on a Wednesday night. I've had their pizzas which are very nice as well. There's only been one time when the service and the food was a real let down for myself and my family, and that was quite a long time ago. Everyone has their off days (in this range of restaurants) so I chalk it up to wrong place, wrong time. Also, their micro-brewed beers are great. Last winter they had a Raspberry ale that was AMAZING. My cousins and I could have sat and drank it all night. The others that I've tried are usually excellent as well. Oh, and their house salad is amazing. Get it instead of the fries (or with the fries) and be happy.

We went to this place for lunch. It was pretty quiet around 2pm when we went, so we got the place pretty much to ourselves. I went with my Mom and we sat in a booth. The layout is just like any of your typical bar and grills, and the food is also pretty comparable. I got the tuna sandwich and my Mom got a big salad. The waitress was very friendly and we had no problems at all. I like to check out the local joints, so this was a nice substitution to the nearby Chili's and Red Robin.

I loved the beer sampler here. The shark shaped tray made it very cool. The waiter we had was angry that we ordered it because it's hard to make. Well, sorry dude, but that's your job and it's on the menu. I say fire that A-hole. Why would you want someone like that working for your company in this economy when 100 people could take that job? Makes no sense. Anyways, food, beer and facility were all great. I won't punish this place too much based on one A hole waiter. Hopefully next time I come back that guy is long gone.

On a cold, rainy, crappy day visiting friends in Lake Havasu City there is little to do. Our hosts were high school teachers, so seeing a movie allowed us to run in to all of their students, that was fun. Afterwards we stopped in Mudshark for lunch and some beers... I fell in love. The brew was fantastic, and rivals my favorite CA breweries. The food was amazing, fast, cheap and delicious. I stuffed my face, bought a shirt and promise to come back and visit Mudshark again.

Eight of us came here after a long day of being on the water and we were super hungry and tired, so we pretty much would've eaten anything. Fortunately for us, the food was really good and the staff was nice. People ordered everything from burgers to pizza to macaroni and cheese and there wasn't one complaint. It wasn't gourmet but it hit the spot after a long day.

My first visit here almost was my last. But my husband prevailed and we tried again. Service was much, much better this time and ever since. But don't sit in the bar if you can help it - they seem to get too busy there and you can get overlooked and almost have to trip someone to get noticed. Fish fry is excellent as is the selection of beers.

While visiting Havasu, we stopped here for lunch after my friend ran in the Half Marathon. All the runners were told to go here for the after party. We were one of the first big groups to get there and set up shop. All 15 of us, including children. The waitress came and took our drink orders and didn't come back with beers until a good 20 minutes later??? WTF. How long does it take to pour 5 beers?? Whatever. Then she took our appetizer orders..... an hour goes by and we are all starting to get really cranky. She never once came over to us and apologized for the wait. One of the locals had to take matters into her own hands and ask for a manager. All of a sudden.... our food appears. As we are all chowing down on the apps... our main course comes right out. I do have to say the Chinese Chicken Salad was very good... or I was just really hungry. I really wanted to like this place, cause it looked so cool. Oh well..... at least they had a Jimmy Buffet impersonator singing songs and changing hats during each one.

Your beers were good, but not memorable. I had your ribeye steak, along with two other friends, and they were excellent. A steak that juicy, flavorful, and size for under $20 is hitting all the right notes. I would definitely be back if Southern California sinks under water and the Red Cross is in Havasu.

We ate at the bar. the bar staff did a wonderful job in waiting on us. I had the chili burger size (whatever the hell a 'size" is) and loved it. It's a burger with fries on top and chili and cheese over the top of it all. It could have been bigger...but it was actually the perfect size to not over-gorge. The chili could use spice but had some real nice flavor. I like spicy food. My wife had the chicken wing pizza - the best chicken wing pizza she's had outside of making our own. Great and spicy with moist chicken and a great crust. their crust is better than mine. damn it. I had the IPA and, while it's not the best IPA I've had, it's a very good IPA. I'm a real hop head. I'd be tempted to have a growler filled here. Not two, but one.

Definitely one of the better restaurants in Havasu City. The onions rings were delicious and the chicken caesar was fresh. Be warned- the burgers are huge. They aren't big in circumference but just really tall. A single MudShark onion ring separates the thick patty from the bun. You'll need a huge Steven Tyler mouth to take a bite. Price range is on the lower end of the Moderate scale. $10-15 pp.

Visiting my grandparents, I've found that there is sometimes not a lot to do in old Lake Havasu City. But the remedy for boredom can be found at the most wonderful brewery around, Mudshark's. This place has been my salvation on many occasions. I can't even describe the happiness I feel upon entering this establishment. After a few days of doing absolutely nothing in Lake Havasu, you'd understand. One of the greatest things about this place is their cheap drinks. You can get a pint of beer for $3.50 or their glorious 5 beer sampler for a mere $4.50 or so. The perfect price for a day and a night filled with drinking. They have eight beers on tap that have been brewed on the premises. I like the Full Moon Belgian Wit beer because it has a fruity flavor and is served with an orange. The other beers are probably better suited for the more classic beer drinker. But the bartender can always recommend one to you if you're not sure. They have a great happy hour too, and this place gets packed! Pints are $2.50 and all apps are half off from 3 to 6 Monday through Friday. Oh I've been many a time and it's fabulous. The menu is extensive for being a pub. They go far beyond cheese sticks and burgers. Here are some favorites in no particular order, spinach artichoke dip, onion rings, veggie pizza, fish sandwich, Italian foccacia sandwich, fish and chips, florentine capellini pasta and the pasta primavera. I told you've I've been there a lot! If you like martini's, get the Great White, it's made with some kind of banana liqueur, rum and pineapple juice and it's mighty fine and refreshing in the heat of Havasu. This restaurant is non-smoking, but you can still smoke in the beer garden out back. If you want a new spot to become a regular at in Havasu, hands down, this is it.

To me this place is just OK. Really like a chain-style restaurant. If that's what your looking for you'll like it probably. It's a tourist trap, not a locals favorite IMO. The brews are good of course and you can get them in the grocery store and other restaurants here in Havasu too. I think the food and service are both a true 3 star.

Tried this place this past weekend on a recomendation from my mom who swears by their pizza. Unfortunately I didn't get to sample their beers because the little ones were around and my mom tends to frown upon that when we are at a family meal. It was not crowded at all considering it was a Saturday on Memorial Day weekend, but I'm not complaining because that meant fast service and we were all hungry! I sampled the buffalo chicken pizza and another one with their scorpian sauce and both were delicious, but my favorite dish was the kobe burger with just ketchup, mayo and cheese. I know it sounds boring, but OMG the burger was so tender that it just melted in your mouth. And the fries that came with it were super tasty as well! I will definately go back next time I'm in Havasu and try their fresh brew.

Place was kind of dead when we went for dinner Friday night. Fish in the fish and chips was soggy inside. Fries were average. My buddies who ordered burgers were happy with them, so order that. Their beers are good though. Overall seems like an average place. BJ's & Yardhouse are way better even if they are chains. Not sure if they have either of these in Havasu, but there are probably better dinning options in town.

One of my favorite restaurants in Lake Havasu City. I usually order a Kobe Beef burger, the Antipasto Salad, or Portabella Mushroom Ravioli. The beer is pretty tasty - I even sell it in the Italian restaurant/ Pizza place I own in Flagstaff, Arizona a few hours away from Havasu.

A large, fancy brewpub in the otherwise seemingly bland Lake Havasu area. The service was prompt and friendly. I recommend ordering steak or a burger. After trying their beer sampler, my date highly recommended the Scorpion red ale. I was just passing through Lake Havasu when I tried this place, but it was good enough for me to stop there again when passing through the very next year.

This is the anti-BudLight/Miller Lite house. Mudshark Brewing Co. is an oasis in the domestic-swill soaked desert that is Lake Havasu. Delicious food and terrific beer. It doesn't get any better in this town. Highly recommend it.

Passing through Lake Havasu on a slow weekday, I decided to take the recommendations of fellow yelpers and check out the joint. After all, I could treat my palate to Chili's any other day of the week (which was thoughfully recommended by the friendly hotel clerk). My first impression: a dimly lit yet casual pub. I ate at the bar, but there was plenty of table and booth seating. The Kobe Burger was tempting, but I opted for the Havasu Beef Dip, subbing salad for the usual fries, and ordered the $4.95 beer sampler (six 5 oz glasses of their signature MudShark beer). The food came faster than the beer! That's not to say it was slow service. In fact, I think it all came within 10 minutes. The food was decent - salad was good, sandwich was ok. Service was excellent. I would highly recommend the Full Moon Belgian White Ale (hints of orange and corriander). The Dry Heat Hefeweizen was surprisingly refreshing.

This place has the best salads I have ever eaten. A friend and I go there every Saturday afternoon. I have the Arizona Sunburst and she has the Chinese Chicken. The others are good too. If you haven't tried them, you should. The atmosphere is good and the service is great.
